We’re not ready for summer to be over yet, so we’re savoring the last of summer with this mouth-watering sangria! Plus, with all that left-over fruit and half bottles of rosé from your Labor Day gatherings, this should be an easy cocktail to whip up! What we love about sangria is that it can be made in so many different ways. So check out our recipe, but please share your sangria concoction with us!

What makes this sangria so different is the use of rosé wine and a splash of vodka (cause, hey, it’s 2020).

 Floozie Rosé

  • Ingredients:
    • 1/2 cup of fresh fruit (we had leftover fruit salad, so we used blueberries, strawberries, and peaches)
    • 3 ounces of rosé – we love Hugh Hamilton’s Floozie Rosé
    • Splash of vodka – we love Monkey Paradise Vodka
    • 2 ounces of sparkling water
    • Splash of orange juice
  • Make it: Mix all ingredients together in a fancy glass and enjoy

Tip: If you have more time, soak the fruit in rosé before adding to drink!

Let us know your favorite sangria recipe!

Ready for a DELICIOUS, refreshing, and hydrating cocktail?! If so, then look no further than our July Cocktail of The Month. The Summer Cucumber Spritzer was created using one of the finest cucumber vodkas we carry, V-One Vodka. This vodka is infused with real Polish ‘ogórek’ cucumbers with just a hint of Meyer lemon to create a truly refreshing and drinkable flavored vodka.

Seriously – it’s an amazing vodka!

Did we convince you to make this yet? Keep reading for how to make and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces of V-One Vodka – Cucumber Flavored
  • 1 cup of soda water – we used Perrier (ginger beer is also a good choice too)
  • 2 lime wedges (one squeezed and one for garnish)
  • A hint of lemonade juice to sweeten it up (any juice would work)

Make: Mix it all together and enjoy it on a sunny warm day!

We hope you find yourself sipping this cocktail along the beautiful coast of somewhere soon! If you do, please be sure to tag us on social media at @MysticWineShop

This cocktail is PERFECT for hot summer days and with added health benefits from the fresh watermelon juice, there is nothing not to love about this tasty cocktail. You know our style, easy and delicious, and while this cocktail does take some muddling work, I assure you, it’s worth it. The fresh juice from the watermelon really makes a big difference, plus the little chunks of watermelon add to the complexity of the drink.

Make it today –

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Tequila (we love Milagro)
  • An ounce of Soda Water
  • Splash of lemonade
  • 1 ounce of fresh watermelon (we used about 3 small slices to muddle for 2 drinks)
  • 1 fresh lime
  • A handful of fresh mint

Make:

  • Start off by cutting up the watermelon and putting it in a jar, muddle it and add juice from 1 lime, mint and tequila (let it soak for about 10 minutes)
  • Add lemonade to the jar and shake
  • Pour mixture over ice and top with soda water
  • Enjoy!

There are no hard or fast rules to making this or any cocktail! Add more soda water or juice if you want. Get creative and just remember to have a good time!

We hope you enjoy it! Please tag us in your photos.

Thanks and have a great day.

The warm weather is here, and that means one thing – it’s margarita season! Our marketing master, Taylor of Creative TK Consulting, continues to whip up some delicious cocktails that are easy-to-make and delicious.

This month Taylor got festive at home by whipping up a Blackberry Lime Margarita, she even let her 3-yr old help by mixing the drink. Don’t worry, no toddlers had anything to drink, Gracie just mixed it up to help, cause let’s face it, with no childcare these days, our kids have become a part of our EVERY minute. 😉

Blackberry Lime Margarita

  • Ingredients:
    • 3 oz of Tequila (we love Espolón Tequila)
    • 1 cup of sparkling Limeade (found at Trader Joe’s)
    • 4-5 fresh blackberries
    • 2-3 fresh lime wedges
    • Ice

  • Mix it up!
    • Place blackberries in the bottom of a glass and muddle (don’t have a cocktail muddle at home, don’t worry, just be creative… Taylor used the end of a kids paintbrush to get the job done!)
    • Pour the tequila and lime juice together
    • Squeeze your limes into drink to taste
    • Mix together
    • Drink and enjoy!

Thanks for following along, Cheers!
